Happy Friday loves!
I wanted to answer some other questions you have asked me, update you where I am in life, and do some post roundups!
First question I got is “How did you get started in this business and what/who inspired you to never give up?”
So I got started in this business over the summer. It evolved into what it is now. I originally started out as just a podcast, but bought my website name so that I could upload my podcast transcripts. But then, I started to get inspired to write more than just my podcast episodes. So, I am so happy that I decided to do that! Someone who inspires me to never give up is my mom (@houseofloveandlaughterblog). She is so encouraging and we are in this together!
Second question, “What is your day to day dialogue with God? What does your relationship look like?” This is a great question! My day to day dialogue is usually starting off my morning with a simple prayer for intercession and then writing down what I am grateful for to thank Him for all He has given me. My simple prayer of intercession is usually, “Holy Spirit, inspire me and my words today. Jesus, I trust in you.” Those simple words indicate that you are ready to offer up your day to all that God has planned for you. I do invite you to read my mom’s guest blog post on her morning routine here, featured on LiveTodayWell.
As my day goes along, sometimes I throw in a quick prayer for someone if I think about them. I find that if you begin thinking about someone/something you haven’t thought about in a while, it indicates that you should pray for them. So, I will say, “Please intercede for this person. Lord, hear my prayer.”
I talk about God a lot — on my podcast, my blog, my Instagram, and especially with my classwork and family. It’s really helped strengthen my relationship with Him to study His teachings in school too.
That was a great question! Thank you for asking 🙂
Another question I got was “What are some untold stories about you?”
This is a funny one. I think some people know this but I will reiterate it for humor’s sake.
So it was a couple months ago and my sisters and I were sitting outside my grandmother’s apartment and my parents were inside having a conversation with her. I leaned up against her door and just felt this force pull me against the door. My implant magnet had actually gotten stuck to the door! Which meant that I did too. I texted my dad that if he heard a thump not to worry, that I just got stuck to the door! It was definitely a laughing moment. It didn’t just happen that one time unfortunately. Whenever I’m standing near magnetic surfaces (within like close proximity) I will get stuck. I have a metal bed frame and I cant lay back without getting stuck to it! My friends used to joke around with me and tell me they were searching for really powerful magnets to see if I would get stuck. The funniest part is, I have a water bottle with a magnetic cap. The lid is magnetic so that I can stick the lid on it and not lose it. And guess what, it also sticks to my head. It was great. I hope this story made you laugh. Just imagine me getting stuck to magnetic surfaces.
Thanks for asking some of these questions! Now I wanted to include a round up of some podcasts and blog posts for you!
