About Sophia Lebano Creative

ABOUT SOPHIA LEBANO, FOUNDER AND CEO

I’m Sophia Lebano, a Catholic website designer and brand strategist working with faith-led businesses, authors, and organizations who want their online presence to reflect the depth and seriousness of their work.

I didn’t set out to become an entrepreneur.
I learned this work by necessity—and grew into it by discernment.

A Brief History

L

An Accidental Beginning, Formed Over Time

At sixteen, while being homeschooled, I was asked to learn website design as part of my coursework to support my mother’s growing writing and blogging work. At the time, it felt like a practical assignment—useful, but unremarkable.

Years later, during a gap semester in college, I joined Hope*Writers and began to notice a consistent pattern: talented writers and creatives struggled not with their ideas, but with the technical side of building a website. I began offering simple design help, initially as a way to stay busy.

What started as small, informal projects quickly became something more serious. Within a few months, demand grew, and at nineteen, I made the decision to formalize my work and step into full-time entrepreneurship.

That early season shaped how I work to this day: practically, patiently, and with respect for people who are doing meaningful work but need clear structure to support it.

Perspective That Shapes My Work

I’ve lived with hearing loss since childhood and received bilateral cochlear implants in 2016 and 2018. That experience has shaped how I move through the world—with attention, intentionality, and an understanding that clarity is never optional.

Advocating for hearing loss awareness is important to me, not as a headline, but as part of a broader commitment to fighting for what matters and designing systems that serve people well.

My Catholic faith is foundational to how I live and work. Raised in the faith and reformed by it over time, I’ve come to believe deeply that excellence, stewardship, and vocation belong in the same conversation—especially in business.

What I Do Now

Today, I lead Sophia Lebano Creative, a boutique studio focused on website design, brand strategy, and long-term digital support for Catholic and Christian entrepreneurs.

I’ve worked with more than 200 clients across a range of industries, helping them bring clarity to their messaging, structure to their websites, and confidence to their online presence.

I hold a degree in Business Management and earned my MBA from Franciscan University, where my work was shaped by both practical business training and a strong theological foundation.

Beyond client work, I serve as a board member for my local Young Catholic Professionals chapter and co-run a small retail business with my mother.

A Personal Note

I believe business is a vocation—one that deserves discipline, humility, and care. That belief informs not just how I design websites, but how I work with people.
