[00:00:00] Sophia: Hi guys. What’s up. Welcome back to another episode of hear and now podcast. We could not wait to have like a couple of weeks between episodes. So we decided to do two back to back episodes. Hey, Baylee. What’s up? Hey, we’ve got some more. Fun content coming for you guys. Probably just going to last through the episode.

Again, we have some funny questions because you guys know, we love doing Q and A’s. Um, so we’ve got some fun, fun questions. And so we’re just going to kind of chat and see what we’ve got for these. I’m kind of excited for you guys. See her, these questions they’ll be so fun. Okay. So Baylee is starting us off with question number one, take it away.

Baylee: Question number one. How do you push forward with content when you struggle with inspiration?

Sophia: That is a great question. Um, I don’t know. I mean, like, I always say, even if you can’t find inspiration, there’s always going to be something [00:01:00] that inspires you anyway. I mean, do you feel the same way about that veil?

I do. I feel like

Baylee: it’s. If you’re writing something for someone, God will like something on your heart to be

Sophia: absolutely like, there there’ll be weeks. Sorry. I’m like, I have no idea what I’m going to put out. And then there’s just going to be something when I’m in the middle of prayer or just like. Not even doing something that would actively like call something to mind, but it just hits me and I’m like, okay, okay.

I get it. Like I need to post this today. Um, so yeah, I mean, that’s obviously if you’re coming from like a faithful heart, um, like we are, um, but honestly I always do something that makes me feel good. Like listen to music or. You know, just find something inspiring that will never fail to inspire me if that makes sense.

So, yeah. So yeah, that’s, that’s a, that’s a tough question. I know a lot of people struggle with that. I mean, what about you? Do you struggle with content creation? Sometimes

Baylee: definitely struggle with content [00:02:00] creation. I mean, look at. Right now it’s been a minute.

Sophia: It’s been a hot minute.

Baylee: I’m going to put something on there

Sophia: today.

So

Baylee: you’ll see my

Sophia: posts. Don’t forget to join us. I’m at P and M links will always be down below, but yeah, I. There’s just there’s days where I’m just like, I don’t know what to post and I know I’m supposed to. And so I always wait until the 11th hour to post something, but it always comes, it never fails to come, which is good.

So I don’t know. And even if you guys take a break in between content creation, like it’s okay, nobody’s judging you. Right? Like I take, sometimes I’ll take weeks off from podcasting. Cause I’m just like, I just need to regroup and come back with new inspiration and new ideas. Right.

Baylee: And the new ideas always come.

Sophia: They always come. Exactly. You’re so right about that. I love it. Okay. Question number two. I hate this question. What are you most afraid of? [00:03:00] Failure

Baylee: first. Okay, so I have anxiety, so I’m okay. Afraid of all the things we’ll go with a more realistic fear though.

Sophia: Scared to

Baylee: death of snakes.

Sophia: Are you really?

Weird

Baylee: about me is

Sophia: I

Baylee: do not like

staying at home by myself. Oh, really?

Scared to death that somebody is just going to come up in my house and break in.

Sophia: Oh, no,

Baylee: that is a true story.

Sophia: So you’ve got, you’ve got a fear of snakes and then you’ve got a fear of being kidnapped or like being home alone or whatever.

It’s just like two different wavelengths.

Baylee: Well, that’s in my brain.

Sophia: Oh my gosh. But I love how you started off. You’re just like, well, I’ve excited. So I have a fear of all things. That’s pretty true. It’s pretty true. Um, yeah. So coming from that perspective, I do think society too. Um, um, [00:04:00] my biggest fear, honestly, I hate bugs, so I think.

Even like when I’m outside, like, I don’t really mind them, but like at night, if I’m sleeping and a bug is crawling on me, that is my worst fear. Like it’s, it’s ah, it’s so gross. I don’t like it at all. Um, and so, yeah, so that’s, that’s the thing. The first one, um, was my second year, um, claustrophobia. I have really bad claustrophobia.

Um, And so it’s usually like in the car, I’m getting better. I’m really getting better at it. But, um, yeah, I think claustrophobia for sure. And just like being sick, I hate being sick. It’s like one of my biggest fears, so I try to stay as healthy as possible. So I don’t like getting sick. It’s just so bad.

Like a cold YAB like. Being stomach’s like, no, thank you at all. Right. It’s so [00:05:00] gross. No, thank you. So I’m like, I’m going to stay home. I’m going to wash my hands. I’m not going to do anything. So yeah, that’s pretty funny. So anxiety high five. See this screen. I love it. That’s awesome. All right. Question three.

Favorite beauty

products. All right. What else? What about your first?

Baylee: Okay, so fun fact. I don’t really know any beauty products by this space, but anyway, um, my absolute favorite one if I had to pick would be my, I try to,

Sophia: yeah, yeah. Um, that

Baylee: Scott would probably be about

Sophia: it. That’s just it. Yeah. Yeah. Um, I have so many.

Um, I try to like, not wear a ton of makeup just to like keep my skin natural and stuff. Um, but I cannot live. Without mascara, like I think the one day to school, I [00:06:00] forgot to wear it. Have a, like, are you okay? Do you feel today, today you look really sick. I was like, no, I just forgot to wear mascara.

I was like, ouch. If I had to like say in second place, it’s probably my eyes, like my eyebrow pencils and stuff. Um, cause I do my own eyebrows. Whatever, but yeah, that’s mascara for sure. Um, and I have so many like skincare products, but you guys have seen those all over my Instagram. Like I can’t live without my skincare products either, so yeah.

That’s a good one, but I love here just like all natural. I don’t get anything on it.

hashtag woke up like this.

I love him so much. Awesome. Okay. Question for book recommendations. So you probably read way more than I do, so,

Baylee: okay. Okay. So I read a [00:07:00] lot and I have a lot of book recommendations, but I’ll just give you a couple that I really like. Okay. So my first one of course is going to be, the struggle is real, but so is God.

I’m going to see, fill it out is a Bible study.

Sophia: I love it.

Baylee: The best one for overcoming struggles. I actually am going to put one in the mail for Sophia here soon, soon as I find a box around my house. And then, um,

Sophia: another one

Baylee: that I really, really like

Sophia: is come matter

Baylee: here by hand a printer. That’s a really good one.

Sophia: That’s good. And let’s see

Baylee: a third one. Hmm. I

Sophia: have too many. Yeah.

Baylee: Books are good

Sophia: books are really good for sure.

Baylee: Books are

Sophia: good. How about the Bible?

Baylee: Oh, for sure. For sure.

Sophia: Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Like the most

Baylee: obvious like read [00:08:00] every day, all day long.

Sophia: Sure. Very sure. Yeah. Yeah. Um, if you think of a third one, but like in the meantime, um, I like I’m bad at reading. Like I like it. If I can find like a really good book that I can get into, um, I, I like really reading, um, either like personal development books, um, spiritual, like it’s not spiritual, but like religious books and, um, what’s the other one?

Uh, Oh, fiction fiction novels are really good, which is why I’m a fiction writer. Um, But I’m trying to think. So my face read series of fiction is the devil wears Prada. Have you ever read that before? I had it. I recommend it so much. It’s so good. Um, I think there’s like one book that I haven’t read yet of her series.

Um, it’s so good. And then there’s the movie, um, that I have to watch. So, but they have like the devil wears Prada. Um, like when life gives you Lulu lemons, I thought that was such [00:09:00] a creative title. Um, and then there’s, there’s a bunch of other ones, but that’s my favorite fiction. I shouldn’t say they use, um, obviously the Bible is my favorite religious book for sure.

Um, but like there’s other like Catholic Bible or not Bible, but like, Books that I read, like theology of the body and stuff like that. Um, and then my favorite personal development books, excuse the language I talked about them before is you’re a badass by Jen. Sincero right. So guide is a good one. It’s so good.

Right? I’ve read it too. Which one did you read? Just like the yellow one, I guess, or whatever. Yeah. So I’m reading the green one to the basket making money. So good. Um, that I loved the yellow one. I thought it was like super interesting. And she’s so funny, the way that she rides, like, just so like personable and you can kind of like, get a feel for her, her personality, like through the book, like it was really good.

I

Baylee: thought it was. It’s funny because when I grew the day I graduated high school, my mom gave me that book.

[00:10:00] Sophia: Oh yeah.

That’s amazing. Yeah, totally. So those are my saves since I don’t know who’s here. Oh, it’s okay. Whatever. I’m going to ignore it.

Baylee: I’m going to pretend I’m not

Sophia: here. It’s all good. I’ll get, um, did you come up with a third book? Yes. Okay. A

Baylee: third book that I really like is by ganglia. He’s the pastor at passion city church,

Sophia: and his book

Baylee: is Goliath my school.

Sophia: Oh wow. That’s amazing. And it’s about, um,

Baylee: anxiety and it’s got

Sophia: different like topics within it. And it

Baylee: talks about how.

Sophia: Like different

Baylee: giants can be defeated.

Sophia: That’s amazing. I love that so much. I’ll see if we can like find links to all the books that we’ve talked about, um, and leave them below or whatever.

Yeah. Um, okay. [00:11:00] Question five. What do you have? What

Baylee: is it like

Sophia: to be content creators with disabilities? That’s a good one. That’s a good one for sure. I don’t know. I mean, If I’m being honest, I feel like there’s nothing much different other than just like, you have something that you live every day and you’ve talked about it.

You know what I mean? Your talks are so funny

all the time. Oh no. So fun. Oh my gosh. B I know. I just think like there’s. Nothing different. I just think like there’s always something that you can write about like just daily struggles. I’m sure. But then at the same time, like for me, it’s not the thing that I make, like my soul. Content, like I don’t only base my content around my disability.

Cause I feel like there’s so [00:12:00] much more to life and that’s kind of  like the message I’m trying to convey is that there’s more to life than just having a disability. Um, so what about you?

Baylee: Yes. I think for me personally,

Sophia: I mean, a disability is a part of

Baylee: my life, but it’s not like my whole

Sophia: life. Absolutely.

Um, I say that just

Baylee: live your life and embrace what you have. So I make a lot of jokes about my disabilities.

Sophia: I personally think that mine

Baylee: are the funniest thing to

live

Sophia: with. Like, it’s

Baylee: so funny. Be an anxious figure. You’re just like, Oh my

Sophia: goodness. That’s horrible.

Baylee: They’re just like panicked 24 seven, but then you’re like, okay, Jesus, take the wheel.

Help me here.

Sophia: Quite literally take the wheel

Baylee: very well. You’re like, okay, where, what am I doing? What is this? Okay, God, how long are you going to a today?

Sophia: Daily

Baylee: prayer and being bipolar. [00:13:00] That’s just a thing. You’re just like, okay.

Sophia: It’s just what what’s what’s she going to be like, for sure.

Baylee: It’s like wake up, what kind of thing?

Sophia: Okay. We’re good. I got this, you know,

Baylee: little countdown.

Sophia: I love it. Yeah. So, um, I don’t know, but like, I’ve seen so many people on, um, just social media, like posting about their disabilities and they make it like, Hmm. The sole focus of their ministry, which I think is so awesome. And so admirable, um, just like for me, I think like, I want to show people that it’s okay to still have a disability, but like you can leave a normal life without, you know, worrying about your disability 24 seven.

Um, so yeah, I think that’s like a really good question. Um, Yeah. I don’t know

Baylee: really like that question.

Sophia: I like totally encourage anybody. Who’s listening to this to be, if you have a disability regardless, uh, what [00:14:00] kind, physical, mental, um, emotional, whatever. Um, That like, it’s okay to put your stuff on social media, sharing your story because we want to hear it.

Right. Like I love right. Finding new people with a story to share, especially, especially if it’s like coming from a faith perspective, because it’s just so like, respect, like, so respect people who do that. Um, and like, you don’t have to share every aspect of your story, but like just encouraging people that it’s okay to.

You know, talk about their story and to live a normal life. Like that’s so cool. Like I love her so much. Yeah. So that was such a good question. I love it so much. Okay. Question number six. This is a hot guy. This is a good one.

Baylee: Yes. I like this one.

Sophia: What are you talking to tips for someone who wants to find faith?

Okay. So my top tip for someone who wants

Baylee: to find faith is to get a Bible and just kind of look through it and read it [00:15:00] and

Sophia: get to know Jesus. Exactly. That’s like the only thing you can do, you know? Um, because like it’s a living, breathing word of God, you know, like that, that is, that is God’s word. And that is the number one place where you’re going to find him.

Um, And then just start praying, honestly, there’s no right way to pray. Right. You just, just talk and just listen. Um, yeah. I don’t know. I mean, we had, um, after, shortly after we started, um, P and M actually somebody messaged me and was like, how do I find God? Like, what does that look like? And so I like texted barely.

I was like, okay, quick, can you talk to him? So what do you think? Like, not that I didn’t know, but just like. It’s just crazy how like different people have different perspectives. You know what I mean? Like I was born, like I was born into faith. Like I didn’t, I don’t know anything else other than that. So for you, I was just like, okay.

Maybe Billy has more [00:16:00] insight than I do other discussion and you’re like, she needs a Bible

Baylee: for sure. That’s the first thing.

Sophia: Yeah. If you were to tell somebody to read the Bible, what book would you, would you suggest them start in? I would say I say John,

Baylee: because it’s like, it tells you. All about Jesus right off of that.

Sophia: And Jesus is the

Baylee: center of the biblical story. So I would definitely say to start at

Sophia: John, I love that so much. Cause like for me, I’d say, okay, start in Genesis. Cause it’s the first. Um, but if you’re really, really looking for the, the core of the Christian faith, it’s in the, in the gospels and you’re recommending John, like I think that’s so cool.

Um, and like from a Catholic perspective, um, Your dogs. He is going

Baylee: crazy. I don’t know. Like some guy just walked back behind my house, working on something and she’s going crazy. [00:17:00] I’m like

Sophia: chill out. Surely vicious dog. Mean

Baylee: if you can’t hear her in the rest of this recording,

Sophia: I know. Oh, well

Baylee: we might have to redo it.

Sophia: I don’t know. Oh, well, Whatever. Um, I’m sure there’ll be like editing stuff that we can do on the address. Yeah,

Baylee: we won’t hear Gabby in there.

Sophia: Oh gosh. Um, Wait, so, Oh yeah. So from like a Catholic perspective, because we also like really really honor, um, Jesus’s mother Mary, um, the gospel of Luke was written almost.

Oh my God. Yeah, that was so funny. She sound like she’s just screened or something. But anyways, so yeah, the gospel of Luke, because it’s written pretty much in conjunction with Mary. So it’s like her perspective as a mother, um, of Jesus’s life, which I think is so cool. Um, so that’s like, that’s one of my [00:18:00] favorite, um, and the gospel of John is unlike every other one of the gospels too.

Um, and so. Like the other three, Matthew Mark, and Luke just kind of have this, like, um, they call it the synoptic. They all kind of like are the same gospel, whereas John is something different and I think that’s like, so cool. Um, so yeah, start with, start with the gospels for sure. Um, and start with the Bible, get the Bible.

Um, yeah, there’s so many you can find wherever you go on your phone,

Baylee: you

Sophia: can find them online. Yeah, absolutely. That is like the number one thing that every Christian should have as a Bible. No matter if it’s physical on your phone, whatever, like just have a Bible so you can always reference it. That’s so

Baylee: cool.

Sure. Okay.

Sophia: Question number seven. Go ahead. What does a typical day in the life look

Baylee: like for you?

Sophia: Ooh. All right. You want to start. Yes.

Baylee: Okay. I’ll start.

Sophia: Um, [00:19:00] so

Baylee: a typical day in the life for me, looks like waking up eating breakfast, doing a lot of homework because I did a ridiculous amount of homework.

Sophia: And then after that,

Baylee: I usually will text miss you, which is.

The lady that I’m interning for right now, I’ll text her and ask her if she has anything. And then I’ll do that typically. And then sometimes I’ll go swimming. Sometimes I’ll go run or walk. I don’t run.

Sophia: What am I kidding?

Yeah. And then, um,

Baylee: I’ll come back and usually watch TV, take a shower and get ready for bed.

Sophia: I love it. That’s so fun. I love it. Just your day is consumed by, by school. I feel, I feel that, um, luckily I have summer break, but for you, like I’m, I’m powering through, I’m getting to the end early, you know, I love it.

How many more days until you graduate or weeks.

[00:20:00] Baylee: Okay. So we S I have, today is day one of week three. So that means I have two weeks left. So 13 days,

Sophia: Oh my God. That’s, that’s so exciting. Oh my gosh. Are you just like so pumped to graduate

Baylee: way too excited, promoted. Good. Like I’m sitting here right here. Like I may not even like finish, like I

Sophia: just want to finish.

I know he was just like, I’m done with homework. I’m done with school. Like I just want to graduate. Yes. I love it. Yeah. So that’s fun. Um, you guys have a pool. That’s so cool. I’m jealous. Yeah. We have to like go to our neighbors. Yeah, Texas. I know I’ve went. I totally drive down there right now. Um, okay. So typical day right now.

Sure.

so a typical day in my life. , I try to wake up like on time. [00:21:00] , and you know, I don’t know, depending on the day, , I will. , just like go downstairs right away and start getting breakfast ready. I’m like always starving. As soon as I wake up, like I need to eat right away.

I’m just like, I will not be able to start my day until I eat. Um, and then I’ll take my supplements and stuff. And then, um, sometimes if it’s nice, it’s been so. Lasted hot here. I’m sure it’s probably worse down there too though. Um, that it’s almost, it’s hard to be outside unless it’s like the end of the day.

Right. , and so, , then, you know, hopefully I’ll go outside for a bit. And then, um when I come back in, I usually will start work. I’ll check like my emails and see if there’s any like client like texts or whatever that came in overnight. And then, if there’s like a website I have to work on or logos [00:22:00] and stuff, then I’ll just like kind of sit down and my computer, um, post and P one M pretty much every day.

, and then try and post to my stories too every day. , just kind of like doing work stuff. And then usually I’ll have like two to three client calls a day, which is kind of painful, but that’s okay. I love them so much. , and then I’m trying to think. , but yeah, it’s pretty like chill. And then if there’s like a deadline I have to meet or something, I’ll make sure, like, I stay on top of that.

, and then what else? I try to exercise. Usually it doesn’t happen. But that’s just a struggle. Um, Hey

Baylee: that’s okay.

Sophia: And then I’ll usually try to go outside. I like when it’s sunset, , because of like where my house is, you can see like the sunset over the Hill, which is so pretty. So I try to go outside.  , and then, , what else?

And then I’ll try and shower and stuff like that. And then, [00:23:00] uh, I always watch some TV before I go to bed. So parks and rec has been my jam right now. Um, and then I try to go to bed at like 1130, 12. I go to bed so late and because of like our time difference and stuff, like, I’ll still be awake when like you’re going to bed and like, Even though I’m an hour ahead.

It’s so funny. I love it so

Baylee: much that it’s funny. It cracks

Sophia: me up

Baylee: waking you up and you’re like, no, I’m chilling.

Sophia: No, no wide awake watching TV and stuff like that. Um, so yeah, that was just like a long winded answer for a day in my life. Um, But, yeah, so that’s good. I always, always, whenever I’m like doing work and stuff, I always have to be like listening to something like whether it’s a podcast or music or stuff like that, like it’s just, I need to have like that noise ways to like, keep me [00:24:00] going, you know what I mean?

Um, so yeah, that’s that, so I kind of like blend into the next question is like, what’s our morning or night routine. Um, I guess we, like, we got an answer that, um, But I dunno, you can pick, what do you think morning or night? Let’s just say this. Do you prefer a morning routine or a night routine?

Baylee: I prefer a night

Sophia: routine because in the morning I’m like, huh,

Baylee: I’m not up

Sophia: yet.

I totally, I feel that, um, I always do like my skincare at night. Like everything at night is so cinematic for me, but in the morning, I’m just like, I’ll get up when I get up. Like it’s no big deal. I don’t really care. Um, so that’s good. Yeah. Night over morning for sure. Um, but like, I like my mornings, like I value them.

But sometimes it just does not happen. And I just cannot get out of bed. Although like during the school year, um, I crash at [00:25:00] night too. Like I like waking up early so that I can get my work done ahead of time. Um, And then I can have the rest of the day for just fun stuff. So, yeah, but that kind of blends into question number nine, which is your turn, which is your

Baylee: top tips for

Sophia: college kids online, both do college online.

Right. Which is so nice. Um, cause we kind of like make our own schedules. So, all right, because you’ve been doing this longer than I have. What are your top tips for college kids?

Baylee: Okay. Number one. And I don’t always follow this. You can ask Sophia, do not

Sophia: procrastinate.

Baylee: If you procrastinate, you will be doing

Sophia: homework,

Baylee: wherever, and ever, and you’ll never get a day off.

Sophia: So true. Oh my gosh. I like, I have like a weird balance with procrastination. Like there’s some days where I’m like, heck no, I’m not procrastinating. And then there’s other days where I’m like, Oh, we’ll just do that. Like [00:26:00] tomorrow, no big deal at all. Okay. So that’s number one. What else?

Baylee: I’d say my next tip would be to get organized, like five something like the same place.

Do your work in the same place at the same time. So that you know that between these

Sophia: hours,

Baylee: I’m just going to sit here and I’m going to do whatever work I have. So that way I get everything done.

Sophia: Absolutely for sure. Um, I found that like using my planner so much, like helps to get organized. Um, yeah. And I actually cause are you like, um, asynchronous?

Like, do you have like a class schedule that you have to keep with?

Baylee: Um, I have, um, I’m asynchronous, so I just do it whenever.

Sophia: Okay. Got same. So, um, I created like my own schedule, which my siblings are like, why would you bother doing that? Like, Why would you do it yourself? Like class times and stuff? Um, did I I’ve found that it like helps to stay on track?

Like if I were to be [00:27:00] in lectures, like from this time and doing my work from this time, like it just really helps to stay organized. Okay. So organization is huge. All right. What do you, do you have anything else?

just make sure that you

Baylee: are, um, always on top of your work, for sure.

Sophia: Absolutely.

Baylee: Because the professors and online classes, they don’t tell you when stuff is due. For the most part, you just have to go in there and look at it yourself and know when it’s due.

Sophia: Oh, my other.

Baylee: You will probably fail your

Sophia: classes so that, you know, when you’re in

Baylee: the zoo.

Sophia: Oh yeah. That’s huge. And no matter what, like, even if you are online or you’re not like, whatever, um, it’s still like, they, you need to be on top of their deadlines. Cause like in college nobody’s telling you. Like things like that at all. Um, and so it’s, I need to be responsible, mature adult and get your deadlines done on time.

[00:28:00] Hashtag adulting. Woo. Woo. Okay. Do you have any other tips there at all? Um, I

Baylee: think that would probably be my top three.

Sophia: That’s that’s true. Like, I don’t think I could stress anything else to this fight. Other than that, don’t procrastinate. Be organized and stay on top of deadlines. There you go. Amen.

That’s college like that’s college life in a nutshell for sure. Okay. My next question is where do you see yourself in 10 years? So in 10 years, how old will you be?

Baylee: I will be 20. No, I’m lying right now. I’m 41 right now. I will be 31 years old,

Sophia: 10 years. I’ll be, and that

Baylee: makes me feel really old.

Sophia: I’ll be 29.

That’s scary. That’s scary. So we in like, so in 2013, we’ll be almost in our thirties. Well, I’ll be [00:29:00] in my thirties. That’s crazy. That is

Baylee: crazy.

Sophia: I didn’t feel right. Like at the end of this decade, I’ll be 29. Like that does not sound right. Um, all right. So where do you see yourself in 10 years? So I see myself

Baylee: hopefully employed.

Sophia: Yeah. Um,

Baylee: I want to write a book one day, so I hope in 10 years I’m possibly an author.

Sophia: Yeah. Or, um,

Baylee: I really didn’t want kids as well.

Sophia: So

Baylee: for sharing myself with a couple of kids,

Sophia: yeah, I’m married. Yeah.

Baylee: I don’t know if that doesn’t work out. That’s just God’s plan. I see myself going wherever

Sophia: God takes me.

Absolutely. That’s always like my biggest thing is like, where do you see yourself? I’m like, well, wherever God takes me, but I hope to do that. I hope that I’m cares and I hope to be a published author. So, yeah. Um, yeah, so that’s true. Um, I was thinking about this today. How many [00:30:00] kids, how many kids do you want for sure.

Um,

Baylee: probably two,

Sophia: really

Baylee: two for sure. Maybe three.

Sophia: That’s funny. Cause I was going to say seven for myself,

seven children. I’m kidding. Um, I’d say

Baylee: children,

Sophia: I’m shooting between four and seven for sure. Um, cause like I have a big family. I mean there’s four of us, but um, I’ve always like admired people who have like. Large numbers of children. Um, it’s like, it’s kind of fun. Um, but seven is like the perfect number in the Bible.

So that’s why I was always aiming for seven. Um, but yeah, I mean, I’ll be happy with whatever God gets me, but I’d like seven or six, six, six is good too. Um, yeah, so that’s good. Okay. Cool. So we’re like polar opposites. This is so fun. I mean, we’re really not, but like, that’s funny [00:31:00] when it comes to kids, we are, Oh my gosh.

For Sharon you’re like

Baylee: kids, but I can’t have seven. I can barely keep up with them. Really

Sophia: text me in 10 years and be like, how’s this seven kids working out for ya. Yeah,

I wanna say 10 years ago on the podcast telling you to, I want to say then I’m kidding. Okay. So, yeah, for sure. So hopefully we’ll be, uh, we’ll be having a book tours and stuff for books and seeing our names on the Barnes and noble shelf and stuff, you know, that would be so much fun. I love it. Um, Okay.

Question number 11. That’s yours. Yeah, I’m excited for this question.

Baylee: Okay. So this is my question that I came up with because I really wanted to know, [00:32:00] is it true that Sophia turns her batteries off when she gets annoyed with something?

Sophia: Well, to tell you the truth, sometimes I do, um, It was more common for me to do that when I was younger, because I kind of had like, Um, easier time doing that with like a hearing aid South. Um, but now with like an end plant, I will like, wait as long as I can to put my implants out in the morning. Cause I was like, no sound is like blessed.

Like it’s so nice. Um, but if somebody, it like annoys me, I’ll do it as a joke sometimes. Like I’ll just. Slip off my magnet and like turn off my battery. Um, just to be funny. And it works. It does. I’m like, I can’t hear you and you can’t say anything to me. So just like, just like you think step to my left and we won’t have a problem.

[00:33:00] That was so funny. I was so cracking. I thought that last week’s episode. My gosh, it’s funny. The whole thing. Oh my gosh. I’ll see your talk. So sounds like she’s screaming bloody murder right now is

Baylee: so annoying. A y’all just need to come get her, somebody come get her.

Sophia: Oh my gosh. I’ll say that sounded very Texan by the way,

Baylee: actually.

Yeah, somebody can get this dog right now. Cause she is online or.

Sophia: Oh, my gosh. Well, whatever, at least at least this time it’s not cracking up, but it’s, it’s Gabby, like just, just gabbing in the background, right? Yeah. It’s just being Gabby. She just needs some help. Okay. Yeah. So to answer your question. Yes, I do turn off my batteries.

Um, not all the time, but did I tell you the story about when somebody was bullying me in school? I don’t know. Okay. So when I was in. I think it was in middle school. And I like, kind [00:34:00] of was just kind of getting used to having hearing AIDS, whatever. Um, and there was this girl that always used to bully me and she was throwing insult after insult at me.

And I was like, Hey, um, Can I just interrupt you because my batteries just died. Air quotes around died. Um, and so I can’t hear you anymore. And so she stormed by too so mad. I was like, yes, like that works so well. And so after that, like I would just use that as my excuse to like, not hear her, like.

Insulting me or whatever. Um, that it was so funny. I was like that worked. So I love that. Yeah. My hearing AIDS

Baylee: just don’t work right now. I’m sorry about the Delilah. Nope, Nope.

Sophia: Today. No sound whatsoever. Can’t hear ya. It was so funny. I know. Loves. Yeah. So that was good though. I thought I told you that story.

That’s so funny. So yeah, he heard another podcast for the first time there. I love it. Love it. Okay, good question 12. This [00:35:00] one still. Awesome. Okay. What is your spirit animal? Okay.

Baylee: Y’all are going to laugh, but I’m going to have to tell you why my spirit animal is a dolphin.

Okay. So I would often, and I’ve always loved dolphins, but one day I went swimming with the dolphins. And this dolphin was just like really cool, really chill, just coming up to me and let me like touch it and like, say hi to him. And I just thought, Hey, we’re friends now. So often disparity and

Sophia: I love it.

And that’s amazing. I thought you were going to say something about like your brother, whatever he said to you, that one time

Baylee: that was a hippopotamus.

Sophia: Can I tell that story? Oh, if you want to go for it,

Baylee: I [00:36:00] was a little girl, probably eight to 10 years old. We were in a paddle boat in the middle of my pint and I fell out of it and I didn’t have the upper body street push myself back up there. So my little brother is two years younger than me. He was probably a six or eight at the time was like, Hey, you were like getting overweight, baby hippopotamus water.

I don’t know what happened, but it was hard getting you up. And I was like, okay, I’m offended.

Sophia: I’m sorry.

it’s so funny. I remember you telling me that story. I was crying, laughing so hard and it’s so funny. Oh my gosh, baby hippopotamus. We came up with like a seal or something like we were texting and like all of a sudden seal, just starting, coming into the conversation. Oh yeah, that’s funny. Oh my gosh. We have weird.

We have weird conversations for sure.

[00:37:00] Oh my God. Okay. So you’re a dolphin. I don’t know. I like, ah, I don’t know. No. What do you think? I think I like to think of myself as graceful cause I was a dancer, but I’m definitely not like all the bruises on my legs show for that from walking into things like I have a cut from walking into my dishwasher.

Right. Why that happened? I don’t know. So I guess I’m not as graceful as I like to think I am, so I don’t know. I like, I also like, um, Oh, Oh, peacocks are like, kind of cool. Cause they have all their colors. You’re just going to say a

Baylee: peacock.

Sophia: Oh no, wait.

Baylee: Yes, because they’re kind of graceful and

Sophia: they’re like, Hey, what’s up

kind of graceful, kind of not. Thanks, male.

[00:38:00] Baylee: Well, you said it.

Sophia: I said it first year, right? That is so funny. Just slotting off their phones, all their colors and stuff like that. Yes.

Baylee: And they’re beautiful.

Sophia: Oh, thank you. Yeah, so that’s cool. Okay. My spirit animals now peacock. Thank you very much. I love it.

Woo. I actually wasn’t. I think I was a peacock for Halloween one year too. Um, so that just makes it perfect. I love it. That is so awesome. Oh my gosh. Okay. Cause I never like thought about what spirit animal I was before. Like the first thing was to be like a dog, but like math that’s just does not work for sure.

Alright. So tomorrow’s Instagram picture will be a picture of a dolphin and a peacock. And you only know if you listened to this one, what that means

Baylee: and I’ll be sharing it.

Sophia: Oh my gosh. I know people would be like, what is wrong with you guys for sure.

[00:39:00] Baylee: Everything, but we’re good.

Sophia: Oh, my gosh, I love it so much. Oh my gosh. This is so fun. I think I don’t even know Oh, how long this episode was, but I apologize to everybody for. Yeah, Gabby, Gabby scabbing in the background. I’m just kidding. It was fine. Um, but yeah. Thank you guys so much for listening to this episode. Um, Baylee, we’ll be back not next week, but we’ll see.

Actually I will come back. I learned

Baylee: more stories about hippopotamus.

Sophia: I know, I said I was not gonna tell, you know, this episode, like dolphins hippopotamuses, and like, I don’t know, dogs in the background or something funny like that. And you’ll be like, I know just like totally funny episode. All right. I love it so much.
