So, this whole episode will be talking about my current favorites and how some of them can be used for self-care as well.
The first item I have on the list is my Love Beauty and Planet Shampoo and Conditioner. I’m obsessed with these, I have them in the scent murumuru butter and rose, and it smells so good. I also have the deodorant in the same scent and again, it smells so good. I also check to see how natural a product is, and love beauty and planet’s products are cruelty-free, vegan, dye, paraben, silicone and sulfate free! It’s a win for me.

For hair care, I have the Conair double ceramic hair dryer. It’s in this pretty white color with rose gold trim. I got it from target and its only $20 at the moment. It comes with 3 heat levels and 2 speeds and 1875 watts of power. It dries your hair with a shine and works so well.

Another hair care item I have is the babyliss flat iron in blue. It’s actually my mom’s, but it works so well for straightening curly hair like mine. My hair stylist uses this one as well. It’s on the pricier side, but it definitely works so well!

The next category I have is outfits and accessories.

I have converse on the list. I had converse when I was in middle school and then decided to order another pair at the end of the summer. I ordered a pair on amazon for like $40 and I love them so much. They are so comfortable and can make any outfit a lot better.

Speaking of outfits, my favorite pants to wear are undoubtedly from Lululemon. They are the Align Joggers 23”. I have them in the olive green color. They are super comfortable and fit like normal leggings, but the bottom fits looser like joggers. I love them so much!

This one is dumb but I have a huge obsession with friends, and I went to target and saw this hat that was denim print with the Friends logo embroidered on the top. it’s so cute, but not only do they have hats, they are bringing back a ton of graphic t-shirts that have old logos. They are like vintage tees and so comfortable. I believe they are in the wild fable section of target.

Finally, I told you that I love natural products, and what better thing to have then essential oils. I love mine so much, and I get them from young living essential oils. You can get a starter kit of 12 oils, which basically gives you everything you need to start your journey to wellness and toxin free living. I could talk for hours and all the goodness that oils do for you, but what I will tell you is that I’ve seen a significant difference in my health and well-being since using them. When I’m stressed I’ll roll on some stress away and valor, or some peppermint when I need a mid day pick me up. We currently have Christmas spirit in the diffuser, I know its only October but the cinnamon and orange scent is totally fall vibes. We don’t use candles in my house, so the oils not only are for aromatic purposes, but for the health benefits too. If you are interested in learning more, I have an oils tab on my website or you can go to sophialebano.com/oils! Feel free to shoot me a dm to learn more.

Self care doesn’t have to be just beauty things, so I’m going to give you some tips on how to practice self care. Its’ important to take care of yourself before others. That’s why on an airplane they recommend you to put your mask on first before helping others. Okay, so here’s what I have:

There are so many things you can do. Go on Pinterest and search self care and so many results will show up. I remember the advice someone gave me and that was take the time to heal. You would no sooner go run on an injured foot if you knew the repercussions of it. So if you are in the state of burnout or stress, take the time to care for yourself. This week is mental health and illness awareness week, so I encourage you to take time for yourself and become the best version of yourself you can be.

I hope you all have an amazing week, thanks so much for listening to this week’s episode and I will see you next time! Bye!
